Superpower: I’m a connector!
Jerry Ferris is a proud CODA (Child of Deaf Adults), husband, father and former Bachelorette Finalist. Growing up, he was the voice for his parents when they needed interpreting and often helped bridge the cultural gap between both the hearing and deaf worlds. “This taught me to listen first and speak second,” says Ferris.
After introducing his family to America on National television, Jerry leveraged his experience into building one of the Nation’s largest interpreting agencies, providing sign language services for schools, hospitals and courtrooms. He then parlayed his skills into almost 8 years in commercial real estate.
Ferris joined Newmark West Los Angeles tenant advisory services team in 2013. The Century City-based team represents a wide range of well-known media, technology and entertainment-related clients. Negotiating over $200 million in sale and lease transactions totaling more than 1 million square feet during his tenure there. Ferris focuses on business development and establishing long-lasting relationships with clients, by going above and beyond to provide each with dedication and personalized service.
Ferris works with a number of charities, including KODAWest (https://www.kodawest.org/) and Greater Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness (GLAD) (https://gladinc.org/). Jerry lives in the Beverly Grove area with his wife, Natasha, and his son, Asher.
