Michael (Mike) Gonzales is a Los Angeles–based land use attorney and licensed real estate broker with nearly 25 years of experience navigating the intersection of law, development, and real estate. He founded Gonzales Law Group APC in August 2011 after nearly a decade at a large national firm, establishing a boutique practice known for its precision, creativity, and results. In addition to his legal work, Michael has held his broker’s license for over 14 years, adding a multifaceted perspective that bridges both legal strategy and transactional execution.

Michael’s expertise lies in the entitlement and development of high-quality commercial projects throughout Los Angeles, including hotels, high-density mixed-use properties, and movie studios. His brokerage experience spans a wide range of asset classes—single-family homes, multifamily residential, commercial office, and retail—each approached with the same care, diligence, and attention to detail that define his legal practice. With decades of experience managing complex projects and negotiations, Michael brings exceptional insight and depth to every transaction he undertakes.

Deeply engaged in the Los Angeles community, Michael serves on the Board of Directors for Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions (LACE) and previously sat on the Board of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. A proud Bruin and Trojan, he earned his undergraduate degree from UCLA and his Juris Doctor from the USC Gould School of Law. Michael lives in Los Angeles with his wife and their three children.
